Why choose the Meridian?
The Meridian is a peaceful and friendly community. It is a gated neighborhood where you know your neighbors and you feel secure. Streetlights are located throughout the community which creates a safe environment to walk in the evening. Many residents enjoy taking extended vacations or spend a portion of the year at a summer home and they are confident in the safety of their unoccupied home.

Is the Meridian a secure gated community?
Yes. The entrance gates remain closed during the day but will open automatically as you approach. Each resident has a personal code to allow access for visitors when gates are locked during the evening.

Is the Meridian an adult only community?
Yes. Most residents are 55 and better, however, 20% of the owners may be as young as 45. Children 18 and younger may not permanently reside in The Meridian.

Is there a Homeowner’s Association in the community?
Yes. Kerrville Meridian Owners Association (KMOA) has a Board of Directors, President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. (The monthly association fee is $85.) There is also a three member Architectural Control Committee that monitors the building guidelines and residential changes to exterior elevation and landscape.

Are city services available?
Yes. The Meridian is in the Kerrville city limits. All utilities such as telephone, electrical, natural gas and sewer lines are underground. In addition, the streets are paved and guttered.
